Cookies and local storage
What is stored in your browser and how you can control it.
1. Our current approach
We do not use advertising cookies or profiling. Vercel Web Analytics measures page views without cookies and stores aggregated, anonymised statistics. Necessary cookies are used only for functions you request, primarily secure sign-in and approved devices. We therefore do not currently display a consent banner for non-essential cookies.

The cookies are HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production. They are deleted when you sign out from the current device or delete the account.
3. Local storage on your device
Without an account, learning progress, selected answers, study plan, audio position, review schedule, accessibility preferences, language bridge and temporary translation cache may be stored locally in the browser. The data supports functions you request and does not leave the device merely because it is stored locally. It remains until you use a delete control or clear site data in the browser.
4. Cache and external services
The installable web app may cache public files for faster or limited offline use. The cache is not intended for payment or account data. If you open Stripe Checkout or an external UHR source, that provider’s own cookies and policies apply on its domain.
5. Your choices
You can block or delete site data in your browser settings. Sign-in, local progress, accessibility preferences and offline features may then stop working or reset. If we later introduce non-essential cookies or similar storage, they will remain disabled until you actively consent, and that consent will be withdrawable.
